Paper Submission
To submit an abstract for the 6th Congress of Geographical Information Systems and Spatial Analysis in Agriculture and the Environment, please attach and upload the file (.doc/.docx/.pdf) through our registration form, or send it to our email address giscongress@aua.gr with the subject: Paper Submission_6th GIS Congress, 2026
Those interested in presenting papers for oral or poster presentation at the conference are requested to submit an abstract in digital format (text file with extension type .doc/.docx/.pdf), following the instructions for writing abstracts.

Congress Holding: May 21-23, 2026
Instructions for writing abstracts of papers:
1.Abstracts should be between 500 and 800 words.
2.All page margins (top, bottom, right and left) must be three (3) centimeters.
3. The text of the paper must be single line space, fully aligned, in Times New Roman 12-point font.
4. The order of presentation should be: Title, Authors, Authors’ details, Keywords, Abstract text.
5. The title of the paper should be in capital letters, 14 point size, centered and bold.
6. The names of the authors should be in lower case and the surname should be written first, followed by the full name.
7. Add an asterisk (*) after the name of the author responsible for the correspondence.
8.Write the status, the workplace of the authors and the city in lower case.
9.After the names of the authors and on another line, 4 to 5 key words in lowercase letters of 12 characters, characteristic of the content of the paper.

Poster dimensions
Paper size A0 (Width 841 × Height 1189 mm) or smaller.
Orientation: vertical
